Welcome to IQRA
A language that connects them to their faith and their roots
Iqra is an Arabic Language supplementary school for children aged 4–16. We teach reading, writing, speaking and listening — and, along the way, help children feel proud of the culture and heritage the language belongs to.
Welcome to IQRA
Where good teaching meets learning through play
Everything we do is guided by research and sound pedagogy, and brought to life through games, activity and play that keep children genuinely engaged.

Equitable Access To Quality Education
At Al Rihla Arabic Language School, we prioritize providing competitive and affordable
Arabic language education for children from all socio-economic backgrounds. Unlike
private tutors who charge per hour, our non-profit model ensures that families can
access high-quality language education at a fraction of the cost. We strive to create a
learning environment where every child can excel, regardless of financial constraints,
enabling fast progress and fostering a sense of achievement.
Fostering Cultural Understanding And Appreciation
Our curriculum goes beyond language
proficiency to foster cultural
understanding and appreciation. By
immersing students in the richness of
Arabic culture, literature, and traditions,
we broaden their horizons and deepen
their appreciation for the diverse Arabicspeaking world. Through engaging
activities and immersive experiences,
students not only develop language skills
but also gain insights into the values and
customs that shape Arabic societies.
Empowering Communities Through Linguistic Diversity
At Al Rihla Arabic Language School, we
empower communities by promoting
linguistic diversity and inclusivity. Our
curriculum celebrates the unique
identities and voices within the Arabicspeaking world, empowering students to
connect with their Islamic heritage and
contribute to the preservation of linguistic
diversity. With our affordable and effective
approach to language education, we equip
students to become confident
communicators and advocates for
linguistic inclusivity in their communities
and beyond.
